1. Important safety instructions
Installation
This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it. It is dangerous to
alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way. Doing so will
void the warranty and cause a security risk.
• Ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
• If the supply cor or any other part of the appliance is damaged, contact a
qualified service technician or your retailer. There are no user serviceable parts
in this device.
• Only a qualified service technician may perform any electrical work required to
install or repair this appliance.
• Parts which heat up should not be exposed. Whenever possible, the back of
the appliance should be close to a wall but leaving the required distance for
ventilation as stated in the installation instructions.
• The appliance must be left standing for six hours before starting to allow the
refrigerant and compressor oil to settle.

- The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.

- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.

- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the de-
frosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

refrigerant and vesicant are flammable.

- Broken, old and decommissioned refrigerators must be disposed of by a
professional recycling station. You can also contact a retailer of household appli-
ances.

The appliance is designed for domestic use and may only be operated in ac-
cordance with these instructions for use.
Take special care in following all instructions regarding installation and safe use

• Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains socket prior to clean-
ing, servicing or moving the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been damaged (if it has been dropped, or
if there is visible damage) or functions abnormally. Do not use the appliance if
the supply cord or power plug has been damaged.
• Never disconnect the appliance from the mains socket by pulling on the supply
cord. Always disconnect it by pulling on the power plug itself.
• Do not use an extension cord.
• If the appliance is not used for a while or if you intend to put it in storage, dis-
connect the supply cord and defrost and clean the appliance before storage.
The appliance must be stored in room temperature.
• This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Contact your retailer or a
qualified service technician should the appliance be damaged.
• Only use accessories and spare parts that have been sanctioned by the manu-
facturer.
Refrigerant and insulant
The refrigerant isobutane is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance,
a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless
flammable. During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that
none of the components of the refrigerant circuit are damaged. If the refrigerant
circuit should become damaged, avoid open flames and sources of ignition. Thor-
oughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated. Avoid entering the
room containing the leaking appliance and contact a qualified service company.
Also ensure that bystanders, children and pets stay out of the room.
The insulant used in this appliance is polyurethane foam, during the manufacturing
of which cyclopenthane, a flammable gas, has been used as a foaming agent.
