Level
Using the center menu button, move the cursor to
Center Noise,
then rotate the front-panel knob
to
On.
Press the center menu button to move the cursor
to
Polarity:
Use the front-panel knob to switch between
Normal
and
Inverse
polarity.
Note the change in the average level of the RTA
bands between 20 and 80 Hz. There should be a
level DECREASE
when the polarity is
Inverse
.
The polarity of the subwoofer wiring is incorrect
if you do not see a decrease. In this case, reverse
the subwoofer speaker wiring connections.
If the subwoofer wiring polarity is correct, you
will see a level increase between 20 and 80 Hz on
the RTA display when the front-panel knob is
rotated to
Normal
.
OK
Press the right
OK
button to save the settings.
Note:
The subwoofer polarity will always be reset to the
“normal” setting. “Inverse” is a temporary setting for
this test only.
