4. Operating Procedure
4.1. Instrument Switching-on and RealTime_PCR Launch
Check whether the instrument is connected to the PC via USB cable, and then switch the
instrument and the PC on.
Start the RealTime_PCR software using
icon on the
Desktop
or via the
Start menu
of
the Windows. In the window of selecting operation modes (Fig. 20)
Guest
operator is a
default (not recommended to use). Select another operator by using drop-down menu or add a
new one (drop-down menu last line). Please type in the name of
Operator
and select the
Directory
where run protocol files and assay results be stored. Click Ok and select
Device
operation.

Once
RealTime_PCR is launched
in the
Device operation
mode a window of running
program with an indication of the instrument status is displayed. In the status line
