Use these buttons to enter a channel or other numbers in a cable TV
box menu.

To use the remote with a tuner or amplifier, you must first set up the
remote to control the device. See How to Set Up the Remote to Control
Other Devices on page 18. Then, you must press the
AUX
mode button
to set the remote to
AUX
mode. The
AUX
mode button’s backlight
goes on briefly to show the remote is set to
AUX
mode. Make sure to
keep the remote in
AUX
mode to use the buttons described in this
section.
Note
: If you do not program
AUX
mode to control an amplifier, a
tuner or any device, you can use the
AUX
mode button to turn the TV
On and Off.

UTTON
Press this button to turn the tuner or amplifier on or off.

apply to your tuner or amplifier. See your device
owner’s manual for details about the device’s
features. Only the remote control buttons described
in this section work for a tuner or amplifier.
