Playback options explained

 

These options are available at checkout:  
1. Retain changer playback 

(default) 

 

2. Auxiliary input (instead of changer playback)

Default option allows users to retain use of their 6-disc CD auto changer. 

Proceed to installation step 3 below. 

AUX input 

(instead of cd playback)

 

Instead of being able to play CD’s, this option p

rovides an aux input jack for 

users to connect and play portable audio devices (e.g., sat radio, Alexa, iPod, 
Mp3 etc.)  

WARNING:

 

Aux input options replaces cd playback but the CD auto 

changer remains connected and will no longer play. 

Connect included 3.5mm audio cable (See 

Fig. 14

) to module “AUX” jack

Route audio cable plug to where audio device will reside (within 3 ft.)

Remove tape backing and attach microphone mounting bracket to 
headliner, sun visor etc.; route cable down pillar, under dashboard 

toward module location and connect to module “MIC” input.

Wind noise (Convertibles) will negatively affect phone audio. Users are 
advised to install microphone away from wind/ventilation ducts etc. or 
opt for button microphone seen in
