Event Logging
The Optical Library has several counters to log operations and events.
None of the event logging functions do affect the operation of the Optical
Library. They may be used in every operation mode (User Interface, normal
operation mode, Show Demo) of the Optical Library.
Events are created by failures of the Optical Library robotic. Every time an
operation (movement) is not finished as expected the event counter of this
operation is increased.
If you have trouble with the robotic of a Optical Library please note the
event codes before you contact the DISC hotline.
To activate the Event Logging press the
´S´ key
, the display shows:

The
keys ´1´ - ´9´
can be used to activate several functions (see table below).
To quit the event logging, press the
´S´ key again
, the Optical Library will
return to the previous shown menu (User Interface menu or normal operation
mode).
