Alarm
The DISCx000 Optical Libraryes are equipped with several sensors that
cause an alarm signal and / or alarm message to the host application in case
of a certain failure.
Following failures may cause an acoustic alarm signal:
•Stopped cabinet cooling fan
•stop of cooling airflow (covered or blocked airfilter)
•overheated drives
•failure of a redundant power supply
When ever a alarm signal is recognized you need to call immediately for
service!
The reason for the alarm always is displayed at the front panel display of the
Optical Library.
ALARM
-FAN-
If ’Temperature’ or ’FAN’ alarm ist dispayed, please check and if
necessary clean the airfilter at the right hand cabinet side!
