The graduated security system underlying the
DISC Blu-safe
®
archive is called "Tiered Archive File
System" or
TAFS
.
A detailed explanation of TAFS is contained in the DISC
Blu-safe
Manager Administration Manual, chapter 2.3,
on the
Blu-safe
®
CD.
Enter the directory in the "
TAFS Settings"
window, which
is to be monitored by
DISC Blu-safe
®
or in which your
data to be archived is located.
As the "Execution Time" window, please enter when the
DISC Blu-safe
®
Manager is regularly to examine your
named directory automatically for changes or for files to
be archived and to archive the respective files on the Blu-
ray media in the
DISC Blu-safe
®
.
If you click on "Manual", the automatic function is deacti-
vated and the archiving is only performed through manual
activation in the
DISC Blu-safe
®
Manager archive
administration window!
In the "Archiving Conditions" window, you now enter the
desired criteria on the basis of which the
Blu-safe
®
Manager is to decide whether a file has to be archived or
not.
Here you can explicitly include files in the archiving run or
exclude them from the archiving.
