8. Installation and operation

8.1 Windows Vista driver installation
This document describes the installation process for
the
Blu-safe
®
driver software for Windows and
explains what to do if the installation cannot be
performed as planned.
The software runs on Windows Vista (32 bit).
The driver is installed in two stages:
1. USB
driver
2. COM driver
As soon as
Blu-safe
®
is connected with the USB
cable
, the "New Hardware Found" Assistant from
Windows appears.
Please insert the supplied
Blu-safe
®
CD into the local
(integrated) PC drive so that Windows can load the
corresponding driver information from this CD.
In the user account control window, please confirm
that you want to install the software and driver.
In the windows now displayed, please always select
the option
"Find and install driver software"
and
confirm all other queries with yes or OK.
