Power supply
The appliance is operated with
electrical power which means there
is in principle a risk of electric shock.
Therefore pay particular attention to
the following:
Never touch the mains plug with
wet hands.
If you want to pull the mains plug
out of the socket then always pull
directly on the plug and never on
the cable as it could break.
Make sure that the power cable is
not bent, caught or run over, and
that it does not come into contact
with heat sources.
Never immerse the appliance/mains
cable in water or other fluids and
keep it away from rain and moisture.
Hot steam
The appliance produces hot steam
for cleaning with a temperature of
approx. 100 °C. Various hazards
are associated with the hot steam.
Therefore:
Never direct the steam jet at per-
sons or animals. There is a danger
of scalding.
Never direct the steam jet at
electrical appliances, plug sockets,
etc. There is a risk of electric
shock.
Do not use the appliance to
clean containers that are filled
with water, other liquids or loose
substances. Hot liquid or particles
could be thrown out.
Children
Never leave the appliance unat-
tended, and use it with the great-
est of care if children or persons
who cannot assess the risks are
nearby.
Children or persons who cannot
assess the risks may not use the
appliance. Therefore, keep the ap-
pliance inaccessible to children.
Packaging material must not be
used to play with. There is a dan-
ger of suffocation.
Intended use
The appliance is determined solely
for steam cleaning of surfaces and
objects. Any other use is considered
non-intended use and is prohibited.
In particular, the activities listed in
the following may under no circum-
stances be carried out with the Turbo
Manual Steam Cleaner:
Do not clean:
Electrical appliances of any
kind. There is a risk of electric
shock.
Containers which are filled with
water, other liquids or loose
substances/materials. Hot liquid
or particles could be thrown out.
Do not clean people or animals

WARNING:
Switch off the appliance before at-
taching the push-on brushes to the
appliance. To do this, pull the mains
plug out of the plug socket.

Fill up the water tank.
Insert the mains plug into the plug
socket. The operating light lights
up. After a heating up period of
approx. 30 sec., the indicator light
goes out. The steam duck is now
ready for operation.
Press the steam button to use the

4. Filling up the water tank
ATTENTION:
Only use the appliance with a full
water tank.
Remove the tank cap (8) to open
the water tank (7). To do this, turn
it anti-clockwise.
Fill the refill container with water.
Using the refill container (9), pour
the water through the tank open-
ing into the water tank.
Close the water tank with the
tank cap. To do this, turn the tank
cap until tight and check that it is
secure.

The appliance has a water tank for
creating the steam. This water tank
must be filled up regularl�� depending
on the intensity of use. The appliance
cannot operate without a sufficient
amount of water in the water tank.
WARNING:
Never fill the tank with descaling
agent, alcohol or other liquids; only
use cold water in the tank.
ATTENTION:
Switch the appliance off before filling
up the water tank. To do this, pull the
mains plug out of the plug socket.
Faults
Within the warranty period, we will
remove all defects free of charge that
are due to material or manufacturing
faults, either by repair work or replac-
ing the appliance or accessories, at
our discretion (damage to accessory
parts does not automatically lead to
the entire appliance being replaced).
The warranty does not cover damage
due to improper use (operating with
the wrong power type/voltage, con-
necting to unsuitable power sources,
breakage, etc.), normal wear and
defects that onl�� insignificantl�� affect
the value or the ability of the appli-
ance to be used.
The warranty is made null and void if
any work is carried out by a site not
authorized by us or if spare parts oth-
er than Royal Appliance spare parts
are used. Wear parts are not included
in the warranty and are therefore at
the customer's expense!
The warranty only comes into force if
the purchase date is confirmed b�� a
stamp and signature of the dealer on
the warranty card or if a copy of the
invoice is included with the appliance
when it is sent in. Warranty work
does not extend the warranty time nor
does it constitute a claim for a new
warrant��!
Send the appliance with an emptied
water tank and a short description of
the fault in block capitals. Write the
comment "Regarding warranty" on
the address label. Send it together
with the warranty card or a copy of
the invoice to our Service department
(see cover for the address).

3. Assembling the scraper
With the metal end pointing up,
push the rubber scraper blade
from the side into the mount on
the handle of the scraper until it is
positioned securely and centrally.

domestic waste. Contact your munici-
pal authority or your dealer for any
advice regarding recycling.
Hot steam can make it easier to re-
move dirt from smooth surfaces such
as work surfaces, cooking containers,
and floor or wall tiles. Use the appli
-
ance to loosen and remove accumu-
lated foodstuffs, grease, mould, as
well as loose and ground-in dirt, or
to freshen up textiles. The appli-
ance works entirely without chemical
solvents.
You can supplement the scope of
functions on the appliance with vari-
ous accessory parts. The following
accessories are included in the scope
of delivery:
Push-on brushes (13): Use these
depending on the degree of dirt
and the sensitivity of the surface
being cleaned.
Scraper (12): Use this to clean
glass and other smooth surfaces.
Microfibre cloth (11): Use this to
clean smooth surfaces.
