Transporting
Only carry the vacuum cleaner by its carry-
ing-handle (Fig. 9/1).
3.2
Parking and storage
To
park
the appliance or when not working
with it you can hook the parking-hook of the
floor nozzle onto the parking-bracket
(Fig. 10).
For
storing
it you can hook the storage
hook of the telescopic tube into the storage
bracket (Fig. 11). It is recommended to first
retract the telescopic tube.
Before
storing
the appliance
for a pro-
longed period
, empty the dust container

and dispose of its contents prop-
erly.
Always store the appliance in a cool, dry
place and out of reach of children.
3.3
Emptying the dust container
Empty the dust container after each clean-
ing session, at latest when the "MAX" mark
(Fig. 13/1) is reached or the indicator "emp-
ty dust container" (Fig. 12) lights up when
the appliance is in use.
1.
Push the dust compartment release catch
(Fig. 13/a). Pull the dust container up and
out of its holder (Fig. 13/b).
2.
Empty the dust container by holding it low
over a dustbin and only then pressing the
release catch for the bottom plate (Fig. 14)
3.
Remove any residual dust left in the dust
container using a dry cloth or a soft brush.

Also check the filters when emptying the
dust container. . Clean them if necessary

Close the dust compartment bottom plate.

Put the dust container back into place. It
must catch with a click.

ATTENTION:
The dust compartment handle is not
intended for carrying the appliance (Fig. 9/2).
ATTENTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat
sources (e.g. stoves or radiators). Avoid
exposing it to direct sunlight. The heat might
damage the appliance.
ATTENTION:
Switch off the vacuum cleaner before empty-
ing the dust container. In this way you avoid
dust destroying the appliance.
NOTE:
Take care that you don't press the bottom
plate release catch by accident when taking
out the dust container.
NOTE:
You can dispose of the contents of the dust
container with your regular domestic trash if it
contains no waste materials prohibited in
domestic trash.
