Use

.

2.1

Before use

1.

Unpack the appliance and all its accesso-
ries.

2.

Check the contents for completeness and
possible damages. For the scope of deliv-
ery, see fig. 1.

3.

Insert the end of the suction hose  into the
intake opening (Fig. 2/A) until the catch
(Fig. 2/A/1) clicks into place. Make sure
that the catch (Fig. 2/A/1) is on the upper
side.

4.

Insert the handle into the upper end of the
telescopic tube (Fig. 2/B).

5.

Attach the floor nozzle to the bottom end of
the telescopic tube (Fig. 3/A).

6.

Adjust the length of the telescopic tube.
Press down the release catch on the tele-
scopic tube to do this (Fig. 3/B). Then ex-
tend the telescopic tube to the desired
length. Let go of the release catch while
pulling until it locks in place. You will hear a
distinct click.

7.

Attach the supplied accessory nozzles to
the accessory holder (Fig. 4). If you put the
furniture brush (Fig. 4/1) onto to the crevice
nozzle (Fig. 4/2), the twin holders can take
3 accessory nozzles.

2.2

Vacuum cleaning

1.

Attach the desired nozzle to the telescopic
tube (Fig. 5/1) or directly to the handle
(Fig. 5/2).

2.

If using the floor nozzle, set the "carpet/
hard floor" selector (Fig. 6) according to the
type of floor to be cleaned:

for short- and deep-pile carpets,
rugs, etc. (Fig. 6/A);
for hard floors such as laminate,
tiles, PVC etc. (Fig. 6/B).

3.

Pull out the power cord by the plug up to the
yellow mark.

4.

Insert the mains plug into a socket with
ground/safety contact.

5.

Switch on the vacuum cleaner with the on/
off switch (Fig. 8/1).

6.

With the suction power control (Fig. 7/A),
set the suction power to suit the surface to
be cleaned.

- By sliding it towards the cable retraction

button (Fig. 8/2), you can increase suc-
tion power to pick up deeply imbedded
particles in carpets, runners, crevices,
etc.

- By pushing it towards the on/off switch

(Fig. 8/1) you can reduce power, e.g. for
gentle cleaning of curtains.

2.3

Switching off

1.

Switch off the vacuum cleaner with the on/
off switch (Fig. 8/1) and pull the plug from
the mains socket.

2.

Keep the plug in your hand.

3.

Push the cord retracting button (Fig. 8/2) to

shows retract the cord by pressing the
retraction button (Fig. 8/2) to pull in the cable
up to the yellow mark again. Otherwise the
power cord might break.

NOTE:

quickly reduce the suction power if less
power is needed, e.g. to release curtains
accidentally sucked in.

WARNING:
