DIRECTV Nexus allows sharing and setting recordings from any
place in the house to take the entertainment experience to the
next level.
The DIRECTV Nexus products allow you to have complete
inter-connectivity within your home. This allows you to pause
what you’re watching in one room and continue watching it from
another room in the same home. You will also be able to access
content via Internet.
WHAT IS DIRECTV NEXUS?
You will be prompted to confirm a recording through an on screen message whenever you set a live or future event to record from
the guide. If the DIRECTV Nexus is active and if you have more than one DVR receiver you will be asked to select the DVR receiver
that will perform the recording.
One of the advantages of DIRECTV Nexus is the ability to stop playing a recorded program in one room and then continuing to watch
it in a second location in the home. Before starting a playback of a program you must first record it.
1- Press “STOP” on the remote control while playing back a recorded program.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The same recording program will continue to playback from the point it was
stopped in the original location.
3- Press SELECT once you find the program and then Continue.
2- From the other location in the home, Press LIST to look for the same program
you already recorded in the first room.
