Select your preferred audio language, i.e. English, Spanish, Chinese, etc.
LANGUAGE
Select the volume of sound effects.
SOUND EFFECTS
Select whether you want Dolby Digital audio output ON or OFF, i.e.
for a surround sound system. Not all TV programs deliver Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.
Look for the Dolby Digital icon in the program description and Channel Banner.
HD channels include 5.1 surround sound when available from the programmer.

Select “Network Setup” to configure and test the connection of your receiver to the Internet. To use DIRECTV NEXUS you must
subscribe to a programming package that offers this feature and your HD receiver must be connected to the internet.
NETWORK SETUP
Select “Audio” to make a persistent change to your audio settings.
