Force the ignition status output Off so that the alarm unit is not triggered.

Read the external temperature and if this is less than 5-degrees C, the CAN-IM will activate and
keep active any “cold weather” features of the car after engine is on for 5 seconds (rear defroster)
Other features like mirror defroster, driver-heated seat, passenger-heated seat are automatically
active with engine running if their buttons were left active before leaving the car.

During the active state of the remote start status input, the CAN-IM also detects any of the
following conditions on the CAN bus for activating the remote start shutdown output:
