Legrest & Foot Plate
To adjust the legrest angle:
• Pull the release lever located under the seat on the front left side
(Figure 11)

• Raise or lower the legrest to the desired position. During this process, the caregiver
should also use his or her other hand to help guide the legrest into place.
• Release the lever to lock in place.
To adjust the height of the foot plate (if the chair is equipped with a footrest):
• Pull the release pin located directly underneath the legrest
(Figure 12)
.
• Pull the foot plate up or down until the desired position is achieved. Height adjustment is
in 1" increments.
• Release the pin to lock in place.

WARNING:
Do not use the legrest or foot plate as a platform. Standing on, exerting
pressure or stepping on the legrest or foot plate could cause the chair to tip or may cause
damage to the chair or personal injury.

WARNING:
When transferring into or out of the chair, make sure the foot plate is folded
in the upward position and the legrest is in the stored position.
NOTE:
The foot plate is hinged and can
be folded up or down if needed.
