FAULT FINDING
FAULT REMEDY
1. The electric motor does not start from the start button although the selector switch is in
position 1b or 1c
Emergency stop button is stuck. Pull up the button and re-start the engine with
the start button.
One of the fuses F1, F2 or F3 has blown. Replace the fuse (10A).
No mains supply (230VAC) to the selector
switch. Check the extension cords, possible distribution
boards and fuses.
The fault current safety switch has tripped. Reset the fault current safety switch.
Voltage supply to the switch OK, but no
transmission forward.
Check the operation of the selector switch and
replace it, if necessary.
Power input to the selector switch and output
from the switch are OK. Check the operation of the engine control
contactor and thermo-relay as well as the
operation of the relays which control the
operation of the contactors.
2. None of the platform movements operate though the electric motor is running and the
selector switch is in position 1b or 1c
Green signal light for outriggers is not lit. Check operation of the safety limit switches
RK11, RK12, RK13 and RK14.
The green signal light for the outrigger limit
switches is lit, but the boom movements do not
operate. Check the operation of the safety relay SR2 for
the outrigger circuit.
Check, whether the fault is in the electric system or in the hydraulic system.
3. Support outriggers do not move
Boom does not rest on the transport support. Drive the boom onto the transport support.
The selector switch is in wrong position. Turn the selector switch to position 1b.
Limit switch on the boom support is not closed. Drive the boom onto the transport support and
check the operation of the limit switch RK3.
