LOAD HOLDING AND LOAD REGULATION VALVES
Check of operation
1.
To check the tightness of the outrigger cylinder load holding valves measure the height position
of the chassis from the floor separately at each outrigger. After a few minutes, measure the
height again.
2.
To check the tightness of the load regulation valves on the boom cylinder and the cylinders of
the articulated arms drive the boom to a position in which its movement can be reliably
measured. Observe the possible movement of the boom in a few minute's time.
3.
To check the tightness of the load regulation valve on the telescope cylinder extend the
telescope and stop the movement at any position, measure the stroke and observe in a few
minutes time that the stroke does not change. (Note! Drive the boom to an almost vertical
position).
4.
To check the tightness of the load regulation valve on the platform levelling system, put a load
of 100 - 200 kg on the platform and measure the distance from the rear edge of the platform to
the floor. Observe for a few minutes that its height position does not change.
Service instructions
1.
Disconnect and clean the valve
2.
Check the O-rings and replace, if necessary.
3.
Put the valves carefully in place
4.
Replace the valve, if necessary
5.
Do not change the settings of the valves
Support the platform, boom system and outriggers in a position, in which the load does not rest on
the repaired structure. Make sure to relieve the residual pressure from the cylinders.
