9.4 .Water quality requirements
Irrespective of any legal regulations, the ground water should not
contain any substances that could form deposits. Iron (< 0.2 mg/
l) and Manganese (< 0.1 mg/l) limit values must be adhered to to
prevent iron ochre sedimentation from forming in the heat source
system.
The use of surface water or water containing salt is not permissi-
ble. Your local water utility can provide you with general informa-
tion regarding the possible use of ground water. Water analyses
are carried out by specially-equipped laboratories.
Irrespective of any legal regulations, a water analysis must be
carried out to establish conclusively whether the ground water is
compatible for the evaporator of a heat pump (see table).
If one characteristic is negative “-” or two characteristics are “0”,
the water quality is not sufficient for the heat pump.
If the necessary water quality is not achieved or if this cannot be
guaranteed long-term, we recommended installing a brine-to-
water heat pump equipped with an intermediate circuit.

10 .Faults / troubleshooting
This heat pump is a quality product and is designed for trouble-
free operation. In the event that a fault should occur, it will be in-
dicated on the heat pump manager display. In this case, consult
the "Faults and troubleshooting" page in the operating instruc-
tions of the heat pump manager.
If you cannot correct the fault yourself, please contact your after-
sales service technician.
ATTENTION!
!!
Work on the heat pump must only be performed by authorised and
qualified after-sales service technicians!
ATTENTION!
!!
Disconnect all electrical circuits from the power source prior to opening
the device.
11 Decommissioning /
disposal
Before removing the heat pump, disconnect it from the power
source and close all valves. The heat pump must be dismantled
by trained personnel. All environmentally-relevant requirements
regarding the recovery, recycling and disposal of materials and
components should be observed in accordance with the applica-
ble standards. Particular attention should be paid to the proper
disposal of refrigerants and refrigerant oils.
