WARNINg:
Disconnect power before attempting any
maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock or damage
to persons.
Open the front control cover.

Remove front glass by removing the 2 outer screws

holding the glass clips. (Figure 3)
Remove the log grate by removing the 4 mounting

Remove the log set by lifting straight up.

Lay the insert on its back and remove the 2 screws

Disconnect the power cord wires from the terminal

With needle nose pliers grasp the power cord strain re-

lief grommet from inside the rear panel and push while
twisting to remove.
Pull the power cord out through the hole in the rear

Install the new cord set through the hole in the rear

cover by placing the strain relief over the cord, hold the
strain relief with pliers and slide into mounting hole.
Connect all of the wiring connections in their original

locations on the terminal block.
Reassemble in the reverse order as above.

REPLACEMENT
Tools Required:
Phillips Head Screwdriver
CAUTION:
If unit was operating prior to servicing allow
at least 10 minutes for lights, heating elements and top
panel to cool off to avoid accidental burning of skin.

Open the front control cover.

Remove front glass by removing the 2 outer screws

Slide the light assembly slightly and lift out of the insert

being careful not to damage any of the wiring.
Remove the terminal block cover by removing the 2

retaining screws.
Disconnect the wiring from the terminal block noting

Disconnect the capacitor from the terminal block.

Remove the terminal bloc from the light assembly.

Reassemble in the reverse order as above
