2.3 User Interface - Link Information Tab
2.3.1. Link Characteristics Box
The context of the link is identified with the S ource and D estination address boxes in the Link C haracteristics group
box. The S ource A ddress defaults to the address of the device selected in the D evice S election box on the lower left
of the tab and the D estination A ddress is selected from a drop down list.
2.3.2. Ethernet Controls
The E thernet C ontrols are populated once the R etrieve button is pushed and indicate the P H Y settings of both ends
of the link.
2.3.3. Control and Statistics Groups
The members of the Statistics group are populated or cleared based on the radio button selection in the C ontrols
group and the pressing of the E xecute button. The lower status window provides feedback regarding the processing
of the activity.
