Online Help
The communications server provides online information about communications
server commands. The communications server offers two types of online help:
tutorial and reference.
Tutorial help provides an overview of end-user tasks. To access tutorial help,
enter the following:
Local> HELP TUTORIAL
Reference help describes the commands available for the current privilege level
of the port. To start reference help from the communications server local prompt,
enter HELP:
Local> HELP
The first screen lists command keywords available for the current privilege level
of the port. The following prompt also appears:
Topic?
When you enter a command keyword from the list, for example, SHOW or SET,
the communications server provides a brief description of the function performed
by that command and lists any associated subtopics.
