Switching on the decoder
-
Turn on the TV.
-
Press the
(blue)
button on the remote control
. If no picture appears
on the screen, select the correct AV mode using the TV remote control.
LOOP function
Function that allows to connect a second decoder in cascade, on the same
antenna, using the SAT OUT connector on the back of the decoder.
NOTE
:
the primary decoder must be in "standby" mode.
FIRST TIME INSTALLATION
The first time you turn on the decoder or when you reset it, the Welcome
window will appear on the screen. The installation will be guided in detail,
follow the on-screen instructions.
You will need to enter your password consists of 4 digits.
Take care to write it down, it will be required for different operations.

If you lose your PIN, please contact support.
In the configuration screen SATELLITE SYSTEM, if you have a standard,
fixed system with single LNB, do not make any changes, go to FORWARD
and press
OK
.
If you have a system with LNB SCR (SCR illuminator, e.g. Sky My Sky HD
system) or dCSS (e.g. Sky Q system) change the settings as shown below:
- SATELLITE:
Hotbird 13° East
- LNB:
Universal
- TYPE OF ANTENNA:
select the type of LNB (illuminator) in your
possession (SCR or dCSS).
- USER BAND:
dCSS or SCR and choose a free port, i.e. not already
engaged for Sky decoders or similar (if you do not know it is possible to
proceed by attempts, until the channel search is successful). Automatically
the DCSS or SCR FREQUENCY item will also change since it is connected
by default to the chosen port.
- LNB POWER SUPPLY:
On.
Go to FORWARD and press
OK
