Recording TV Programs
The receiver is equipped with a dual TV tuner, so while a recording
is in progress, you can:
(a) display a channel;
(b) make a second recording also of a channel belonging to a
different MUX (package). In this case, only the channels belonging
to the MUXs of the recording channels will be visible (at the same
time as the recordings).
But if you are recording two channels both belonging to the same
package, being only one MUX in use, you can view any other
channel belonging to any MUX.
Television broadcasters may decide to prohibit registration on the
grounds of copyright concerns.
- Instant recording
Tune in to the desired channel and press the
REC
button to start
recording manually. It has a default duration of two hours, but if you
press the
REC
button again, you can change it by entering the
desired duration with the remote control (hours and minutes in
hh:mm format). To stop recording in advance, press the ■ (STOP)
button instead and confirm.
- Scheduled recording
You can program multiple timers for both recording and viewing
(reminders) by going to the
System Setup > Timer Settings
menu.
To see which channel is being recorded, open the channel list by
pressing the
OK
button.
Playing back recorded content
The recorded files are saved in the folder named
ALIDVRS2
in the
USB memory dedicated to the recording and can be called up s by
accessing the
Media Player > Record
.
