5.7 Seat angle adjustment

pensate for the seat angle, which is set at the
factory at 3 degrees.. Make sure that the cas
-
tor angle is always 90° to the floor (Fig. 43). A
castor angle that deviates from 90° will al
-
ways have a negative impact on the wheel
-
chair's driving behaviour.
The angle setting of the castor can be adjusted
in three steps (6°, 3° (standard), 0°) by rotat
-
ing the castor inlay. Each of the set angles are
shown in a window in the castor housing. (Fig.
42)
WARNING
After setting the seat angle, check that the cas
-
tor bushing is at right angles to the ground. For
precise adjustment, we recommend using a 90°
try square.
