5.2 Drum brake (optional)
Only to be performed by specialist staff:
In order to achieve an optimal braking effect,
the braking force is adjusted on the adjusting
screw on the brake cable. The braking force is
increased by loosening the adjusting screw.
Loosen the lock nut and unscrew the adjusting
screw until you hear grinding noises from the
turning wheel. Then screw in the adjusting
screw until the grinding noises stop. Once you
have finished adjusting the settings, the ad

justing screw is fixed by tightening the lock
nut. (Fig. 33)

Ensure that the drum brakes are evenly adjust
-
ed on both sides of the wheelchair.
5.3 Backrest/adjustable back
You can adjust your backrest surface accord
-
ing to your requirements. (CANEO_S_L_XL)
To do this, remove the padded backrest sur
-
face cushion and release the straps’ Velcro
fasteners. The straps’ Velcro fasteners can then
be re-fastened in the desired setting, starting
with the bottom strap. Finally, fold the padded
cushion over the backrest surface again.
