04 USING THE WHEELCHAIR

4.2  Swivelling the sideguards back

To  swivel  up,  press  the  locking  lever

 

and pull the sideguard upwards.

The arm rest engages automatically on swivel

-

ling back.

This engagement is clearly audible. (Fig. 18).

4.3 Folding the foot plates up

Fold the foot plates up to make entering and 
exiting easier. (Fig. 19).

The  foot  plates  must  be  folded  up  to  save 
space when folding the wheelchair together.
