Opening the Safe Door
The safe door lock will be either a mechanical combination lock or an electronic
combination lock (Figure 3-3). An optional mechanical keylock is also available
with the mechanical combination lock or the electrical combination lock
(Figure 3-3). A handle releases the safe door after the correct combination has
been entered.
The mechanical combination lock or electronic high
security lock MUST BE ACTIVATED to maintain UL 291
24-hour Service Level 1 burglary resistance protection.
The mechanical keylock does NOT provide burglary
resistance protection.
