Protocol Mode Selection and Enable Termination: JP2
The Jumper Block
JP2
provides the options to select RS232, RS422, and RS485 protocols on the serial
ports. By default, Jumper position 1 in the RS232 in full-duplex mode is selected.

also provides the capability to enable termination resistors on the serial ports in
RS422/RS485 protocol modes. The Jumper configurations are specified in the following table and illustrated
below. Normally both jumpers for a port will be either installed or uninstalled (3 and 4 together, 5 and 6
together).
