CUSTOMERS WITH FIREFLY REMOTE CONTROL ONLY
Firefly Installation
Please make sure that you have first installed the XtremeTV driver and
BeyondTV before installing the Firefly remote control.
NOTE 1:
If you purchased a version of Diamond XtremeTV without the
Firefly remote control, you can purchase Firefly separately at
www.DiamondMM.com
NOTE 2: Please do not connect the remote control receiver to a
USB port until prompted in the Firefly setup.
1. Insert the AAA batteries (included) into the remote control.
2. Insert the install CD and wait for the menu to appear.
3. Click the
Firefly Remote Control
button on the main menu.
4. Click the
Next
button.
5. Click the
I Agree
button.
6. Confirm the installation folder and click
Next
.
7. Click the
Install
button.
8. Click the
Finish
button.
Continue to the Firefly setup below.
Firefly Setup
A screen will appear asking you to plug the receiver into a USB port
after clicking the Finish button in Firefly installation.
1. Connect the Firefly receiver into an available USB port on your com-
puter.
2. Press the
OK
button on the remote control. You will get a confirma-
tion that the OK button was pressed.
3. A tutorial for firefly will appear. We recommend going through this
tutorial if you are new to the firefly product.
Beyond Media Basic will appear after you close the tutorial. You can close
the beyond basic interface by pressing the firefly button on the remote
control.
