Step 2: Configure Serial/Parallel ATA in the Award BIOS

Settings for Drives Supported by nForce4 SLI

1. Power-on the system then press <Del> to enter the main menu

of the Award BIOS.

2. Select the Integrated Peripherals submenu - “RAID Config”

section of the BIOS.

3. Set the “RAID Enable” field to “Enabled”.

4. Enable

the Serial/Parallel ATA drives you want to configure as

RAID.

5. Press <Esc> to return to the main menu of the BIOS setup

utility. Select “Save & Exit Setup” and press <Enter>.

6. Type <Y> and press <Enter>.

7. Reboot the system.

Important:

Make sure you have installed the Serial/Parallel ATA drives and
connected the data cables otherwise you won’t be able to
enter the RAID BIOS utility.
