Load BIOS Defaults
The “Load BIOS Defaults” option loads the trouble-
shooting default values permanently stored in the ROM
chips. These settings are non-optimal and turn off all
high performance features. You should use these values
only if you have hardware problems. Highlight this
option in the main screen and press <Enter>. The mes-
sage below will appear.
Load BIOS Defaults (Y/N)? N
If you want to proceed, press <Y> and the default
settings will be loaded.
Load Setup Defaults
The “Load Setup Defaults” option loads optimized
settings from the BIOS ROM. Use the Setup default
values as standard values for your system.
Highlight this option on the main menu and press
<Enter>. The message below will appear.
Load Setup Defaults (Y/N)? N
Type <Y> and press <Enter> to load the Setup default
values.
Password Setting
If you want to set a password, make sure that the Secu-
rity Option under the BIOS Features Setup is set to
“System” or “Setup”. Refer to the BIOS Features Setup
option for more information.
