Installing the Modules
A SIMM simply snaps into a socket on the system
board. Pin 1 of the SIMM must correspond with Pin 1
of the socket.
1. Position the SIMM above the socket with the
“notch” in the module aligned with the “key” on the
socket.
2. Seat the module at a 45
o
angle into the bank. Make
sure it is completely seated. Tilt the module upright
until it locks in place in the socket.
