2. Highlight “Board Name” and press <Enter>. The
cursor will appear for you to type-in the name of the
board. After typing-in the board name, press
<Enter>.
3. Highlight “Manufacturer” and press <Enter>. The
cursor will appear for you to type-in the name of the
manufacturer. After typing-in the manufacturer’s
name, press <Enter>.
4. Highlight “Board Type” and press <Enter>. Select
the appropriate option for the board and press
<Enter>.
5. Highlight “Slot Type” and press <Enter>. Select the
slot type appropriate for the board and press <Enter>.
6. It is necessary to define an ISA board when you want
to prevent other boards in the system from using the
same IRQ levels, DMA channels, I/O Port address or
Memory address that your ISA board uses.
“DMA” allows you to define up to four (4) DMA
channels.
a. Select one of the DMA options and press
<Enter>. The ISA DMA Definition box similar
to the one shown on the next page will appear.
