The system will automatically detect the settings for you.
Manual
This setting makes the IRQ Resources and DMA
Resouces fields selectable. In the fields, assign each
system interrupt its proper type.
IRQ Resources (IRQ3/4/5/7/9/10/11/12/14/15) and DMA
Resources (DMA0/1/3/5/6/7)
These fields are used to set each system interrupt to either Legacy
ISA or PCI/ISA PnP.
PCI/ISA PnP
For devices compliant with the Plug and Play
standard whether designed for PCI or ISA bus
architecture.
Legacy ISA
For devices compliant with the original PC AT bus
specification.
PCI/VGA Palette Snoop
This field determines whether the MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards can
work with PCI/VGA or not. The default value is Disabled.
Enabled
MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards work with PCI/VGA.
Disabled
MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards does not work with PCI/
VGA.
Assign IRQ for VGA
When Enabled, the system automatically assigns an IRQ for the VGA
card installed. Your VGA card will need an IRQ only when using the
video capture function of the card. If you are not using this function
and a new device requires an IRQ, you can set this field to Disabled.
The IRQ (previously occupied by the VGA card) will be available for
your new device.
Note:
When Disabled, a Yellow mark will appear in Windows
95s
Device Manager.
