GPS Tracking Features

Simple Locates:

Users can click “Locate” from the Account

Summary page or the Configure Units page and in about 30
seconds receive back a link in the Event History which, when
clicked, displays a birds eye view on a map with the approximate
location of your device.

Location View:

Users can also do locates from the Location

View page or view prior locates done from other pages. Here
they can see the estimated range of accuracy of the locate
(+/- feet) along with a represented circle around the dot on the
map as well as the approximate street address of the location.

Tracking Sessions:

Users can set up automatic tracking sessions

which enable the device to locate at a set interval down to every 10
seconds (depending on the service plan subscribed to). For a list
of service plans please go to www.dewaltmobilelock.com.

Virtual Fence:

Users can set up a virtual area online in their

account and be alerted if their device travels into or out of that area.

NOTE:

To improve location accuracy, follow these recommendations:

•  Best locations are outdoors with line of sight to the sky.
•  Keep away from underground locations.
• Avoid structures with metal or concrete roofs, tall buildings or

dense foliage.

•  Windows with sun shielding films can block satellite signals.
• Military airbases and government buildings may block satellite

signals

Initial Set Up

Mobilelock™ is a self-install portable alarm system and GPS
locator. It is easy to set up and operate. There are “?” icons
throughout the online Mobilelock™ account with more information
as well as several video tutorials under the Help tab. Follow the
steps in the Quick Start Guide in the beginning of this manual.

Activation

IMPORTANT:

The alarm is non-functional until the service is

activated. To activate, the device must be connected to power
through its wall charger and must be in Verizon cell coverage.
A pattern of depressing and releasing the tamper button is also
necessary to initiate the process. Be sure the following necessary
information is available at the time of activation:
1.  MEID number on the back of the device under the bar code.
2.  Credit card information.
3.  Account and notification details

Walk Test

After activating your device log into your new account. First send
a Status Request to the device from the Configure Units Page to
confirm the device is communicating properly and has sufficient
battery charge and is in an area with sufficient cellular signal.
Next select the sensors, speaker and battery settings desired
and set up the contacts for notification on the Alarm Contacts
Page. Then Arm the DS600 from the Configure Units Page and
trip each of the sensors. Check to see that the respective alarm
was received in the Event History and that notification of the
alarm was received per the settings on the Alarm Contacts page.

Mounting

• The DS600 has two mounting holes for easy installation.

Use two #8 screws (not provided)

•  Use the magnets on the back for easy attachment to ferrous metal.

Use a zip tie through the mounting holes in addition to the
magnets if there is a risk that the device could fall off what it is
mounted to.

• Be sure that the device is secure so it will not be bumped or

otherwise moved.
