Using the Configured Access

Using the Configured
Access

If you have configured your Internet
access as described above, always
establish your Internet connection
as follows:

My Computer

➜

Dialup Networking

➜

"Internet Provider"

➜

Enter user

name and password

➜

Connect.

Then start up your browser.

While using the Internet, you can
view current connection details or
disconnect via "Status". To do this,
double-click on the icon on the Win-
dows taskbar, as illustrated.

Select "Status" from the drop-down
menu. This displays the transfer
rate, the connection duration and
the amount of data sent or received.

"OK" closes the window. "Discon-
nect" terminates the connection,
"Details" adds further details.
