Configuring access

Requirements:

To use the Internet

from your PC you need access via a
service provider. The following data
must be entered whilst configuring
access:

- Telephone number
- User name
- Password.

To operate dialup networking on
Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000
other steps may be necessary.
Please consult the "Read me…" file
in the main directory of the CD.

Data Communication

In addition, an Internet browser
must be installed on your PC (e.g.
Netscape Communicator or
Microsoft Internet Explorer).
Consult your current provider about
access data. A further requirement
is the availability of the "

Dialup Net-

working

" folder on your PC. To veri-

fy this, open the window, as illus-
trated below, by double-clicking on
the "

My Computer

" icon.

The "Dialup Networking" folder,
illustrated below, must be available
here. If it is not, please install the
Windows operating system compo-
nent "
