MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The use of spare parts other than those
originally supplied by the manufacturer
may result in a drop in performance or
in increased maintenance and level of
vibration and in the full cancellation of the
manufacturer’s liability.
To obtain maximum efficiency from the
pneumatic tool, preserve its features
and avoid repeated repairs, a routine
inspection and repair programme
are recommended at least every 500
hours, the intervals between the various
inspections depending on the amount of
exertion on the power tool.
When disposing of components,
lubricants, etc... ensure that the relevant
safety procedures are carried out.
The rotor blades in this tool have a PTFE
content. The normal health and safety
recommendations concerning PTFE must
be observed when handling these rotor
blades.
●
Do not smoke.
●
Motor components must be washed
with cleaning fluid and not blown clear
with an air line.
●
The silencer must be replaced when
dirty, do not clean and re-use.
●
Wash hands before commencing any
other activity.
DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
Indicates direction of dismantling.
Disassembling the turbine
● Position the power tool in a vice fitted with soft
jaws.
●
Unscrew the adapter (1).
●
Extract the cylindrical spring (4), the disc
spring (7), the conical spring (8) and the ball
(9).
●
Remove the lever complete (12, 18, 19).
●
Unscrew the bushing complete (13).
●
Remove the valve (5) and the inlet (6).
●
Extract the turbine from the housing (32).
●
Unscrew the speed governor (20)
Left thread (see figure 3).
● Remove the turbine (see figure 4).
● Slightly clamp the rotor in a vice fitted with soft
jaws in order to unscrew the pinion.
Disassembling the angle head
●
Unscrew the plug (50).
●
Extract the shaft sub-set (42, 43), the bearing
(48), the deflector (47), the pinion and the nut
(46).
●
Unscrew the nut (46) in order to detach the
pinion from the shaft (42, 43).
Reassembling the angle head
●
Lubricate the shaft pinion with grease and
proceed with reassembling.
●
Tighten the plug (50) to a 60Nm torque.
Reassembling the turbine
●
Proceed in reverse order with respect to
disassembly.
Be careful with the direction for
assembling the blades (24)
(see figure 5).
●
Apply a small quantity of "Loctite 641" on the
thread of the governor (20) before tightening it
to a torque of 1.5Nm.
●
Lubricate the pinion with the remaining
grease.
Rear cap
●
The lever complete has two 180° adjustable
positions (see figure 6).
●
When reassembling, centre the disc springs
(7) on the conical spring (8).
●
Tighten the adapter (1) to a 30Nm torque.
Lubricating the bevel gear
●
Amount of grease: 3.5g.
●
Recommended grease: 6159901490 (24g) or
6159901480 (1kg).
●
The use of any other lubricant, in higher or
lower amount, will shorten the life and impair
the operation of angle pinions.
Be careful when clamping the tool in the
vice
(see figure 8)
.
