4.2 Connect the sensor

Connect the sensor

4.2.1

Connect sensor and USB interface

To connect the sensor and the USB interface, please perform the
following steps:

1.

Connect the USB interface to the USB port of a PC either directly or
via a USB hub. When attached, the Connection status LED on the
USB interface displays a green indication.

2.

Connect the sensor to the USB interface. When attached, the
Sensor status LED on the USB interface also displays a green
indication.

4.3

Register the patient

To register a patient in Sidexis 4, please perform the following steps:

Sidexis 4 is open and running.

1.

Click on the 

"Patient:" button in the phase bar.

2.

Click on the desired patient in the patient list.

3.

Click the 

"Register and exposure" button to prepare the software for

a new exposure.

Ä

Sidexis 4 software enters the Exposure phase.

4.

Select the Xios AE sensor in the device screen.
