AV Pure Direct connection
This shows how to make a connection in order to use the AV Pure Direct function.

The MONITOR(VIDEO) connector outputs video signals.
The AMP(AUDIO) connector outputs audio and black video signals.
To use the AV Pure Direct function, you must change the Pure Direct setting.

Connecting an AV Receiver compatible with the Denon Link HD
function
By making a Denon Link HD connection to a AV Receiver compatible with the Denon Link HD function,
you can enjoy higher quality playback compared with when only the HDMI connector connection is made.

This unit automatically recognizes the Denon Link HD connection with an AV receiver. Therefore, you do
not need to make special settings.
•
When a correct Denon Link HD connection is made, the DENON LINK HD indicator on the front panel
lights.
•

of your AV receiver.

This unit does not support DENON LINK 2nd/3rd/4th.

Connecting to a device equipped with a DVI-D connector
Use an HDMI DVI-D conversion cable.
•
The audio signal is not output. Make the appropriate audio connections for your devices.
•
The video signal will be in RGB format.
•
You cannot output to a DVI-D device that does not support HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content
copyright protection system).
•
Video may not be output depending on the combination of devices.
