11. Signalling of dead batteries
When the batteries of one of the products have run out, you will
be notified when activating or deactivating the system by a series
of beeps (call to read).
You can identify the relevant product by using the "Info" menu of
the touch screen keypad.
Each product also indicates separately when its batteries have run
out:
- the detector LEDs flash whenever the system detects something
or someone,
- the remote control LED flashes each time it is pressed,
- The "warning (
)" symbol is displayed on the screen of the
touch screen keypad,
- the transmitter announces “battery defect” with its voice synthe-
sis system.
Please contact your installer to replace the batteries of one of the
system's products.
Some products use battery units specific to Delta Dore.
Lithium battery precautions
The devices of the TYXAL+ range use Lithium batteries.
1 – Storage condition:
Store in a cool (preferably < 30°C), dry, well-ventilated place.
Keep away from any sources of moisture, heat, open flames.
Keep the batteries in the original packaging until they are used.
Do not store in bulk.
Do not exert any force that may cause a deformation.
2 – Handling:
Do not mix batteries of different models or different brands.
Do not mix new and used batteries.
Do not heat or weld directly.
Do not disassemble.
Lithium-thionyl chloride batteries cannot be recharged and must never be recharged.
3 – Installation and replacement:
Only install new batteries in a single device that have the same date code, from the
same manufacturer and having the same type.
Properly align the poles of the batteries when installing them.
Follow the recommendations regarding the maximum intensity of currents and oper-
ating temperature range.
4 – Disposal:
Dispose in compliance with the regulations in force.
5 – Safety:
Do not short circuit.
Do not recharge.
Do not pierce.
Do not incinerate.
Do not crush.
Do not expose internal components to water.
Do not force the discharge.
Do not expose to temperatures greater than 100°C.
