HOW TO START UP THE CONDITIONER
(see control panel on the opposite page)

The appliance comes on

If not, refer to pg. 30

To switch off the appliance,

press the Power push-button.

Plug the appliance into the mains.

The signal lamp will come on  

 .

Press the key for the function required:

AIR-COOL. KEY = Air-conditioning

VENT. KEY

= Ventilation

AUTO. KEY

= Automatic climatization

  AIR-CONDITIONING

 VENTILATION

AUTOMATIC

The  Min. speed warning
light comes on.

The Min. speed signal lamp
comes on.

The appliance automati-
cally selects the ventilation
or the air-conditioning func-
tion depending on the room
temperature.

Press the “Air-conditioning”
key again to increase fan
speed. The Max. speed
warning light comes on.

Press the “ventilation” key
again to obtain Max. speed.
The Max. speed warning
light comes on.

One of the signal lamps will
come on, depending on the
function selected by the
microcomputer.

Select either the “Programmed” or “Non-programmed” mode
(see pg. 26)

Press the ON/OFF key.

The function signal lamps flash and the 

 signal lamp goes

out.

Move the cursor to maxi-
mum cold position. The air-
cooling signal lamp comes
on. (When the room
tempeture has reached the
desired level, move the slid-
ing thermostat control
gradually to the  min. posi-
tion: the unit switches off
and the conditioning sig-
nal lamp start to flash).
