To ensure optimal performance from your
portable air conditioner, follow these recom-
mendations:

close the windows and doors in the room
to be air conditioned. 
The only exception is when the appliance
is installed through a hole in the wall.
In this case, you are recommended to
leave a slight draught through a door or
window to guarantee correct ventilation. 

Protect the room from direct exposure to
the sun by partially closing curtains and/or
blinds to help the appliance run more effi-
ciently.
