To install, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the filter from the packaging.
2. Slide the pointer of the date indicator (fig. 26,

page 5) until the months of use are displayed
(the filter lasts about two months).

3. Insert the filter in the water tank and press it

until it touches the bottom of the tank (fig. 25,
page 5).

4. Fill the water tank and insert in machine;
5. Turn the cappuccino maker outwards and

place a container underneath (min. capacity
100ml).

When you install the filter, you must notify the
appliance of its presence.
6. Press the P button to enter the menu;
7. Turn the selection knob until the lights come

on             ;

8. Press the              button to select the func-

tion: The OK light flashes;

9. Press              to confirm the selection. The

OK light flashes and the         light comes on;

10. Press the             button (fig. 3). The applian-

ce delivers hot water and the        light flashes. 
After delivery, the appliance returns automati-
cally to the "ready for coffee" position. 

If on the other hand you want to use the applian-
ce without a filter, you must remove it and notify
the appliance of its removal as follows:
1. Press the P button to enter the menu;
2. Turn the selection knob until the                  

lights come on (the second flashes to indicate
the presence of the filter);

3. Press the               button: the light stops

flashing       to indicate that the filter is not
present. The ESC light comes on and the OK
light flashes;

4. Press the              button twice to exit the

menu

.

Important!  If this is not done, the

appliance could become clogged with limescale.

Replacing the filter

When the        light comes on or after two months
of use (see date indicator), the filter must be repla-
ced:
1. Remove the exhausted filter;
2. Remove the new filter from the packaging.
3. Slide the pointer of the date indicator (fig. 26,

page 5)  until the months of use are displayed
(the filter lasts about two months).

4. Insert the filter in the water tank and press it

until it touches the bottom of the tank (fig. 25,
page 5).

5. Turn the cappuccino maker outwards and place

a container underneath (min. capacity 100ml).

6. Press the P button to enter the menu;
7. Turn the selection knob until the lights come on

8. Press the             button to confirm the selec-

tion (or the            button to cancel the opera-
tion); The OK light flashes;

9. Press the              button again to notify the

machine that the filter has been replaced. The
OK light flashes and the             light comes on;

10. Press the               button (fig. 3). The applian-

ce delivers hot water and the         light flashes. 

After delivery, the appliance returns automatically to
the "ready for coffee" position. 

Statistics function

1. Press the P button to enter the menu;
2. Turn the selection knob until the lights come

on                                ;

3. Press the               button to confirm (or the 

button to cancel the operation);

4. Press the              button again to access the

statistics function: the appliance displays the
following information:

-

how many coffees have been made         ;

-

how many times the machine has been desca-
led         ;

-

the total number of litres of water delivered

;

-

how many times the water filter has been
replaced          . 

5. To view the required information, turn the

selector knob until the corresponding light
flashes. The coffee beans flash in the follo-
wing order to indicate the number:

Example: you want to know how many coffees
have been made. 

Enter the menu and select the         light. Count
the flashes of the beans - 137 coffees have been
made. 
6. When you have viewed the information, press

the           button to exit the statistics menu.
To go back to "ready for coffee", press the but-
ton              .
