Removing the Hard Drive 

 

1.

Follow the procedures in 

Before Working Inside Your Computer

.  

2.

Remove the 

cover

.  

3.

Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the hard drive. 

  

4.

Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the computer. 

  

5.

Remove the hard drive from the computer. 

  

Replacing the Hard Drive 

To replace the hard drive, perform the above steps in reverse order.
