Enter the uplink-state-group-1 configuration mode to:

Disable the uplink-state group 1 configuration. 

•

Configure the defer-timer setting used for UFD link tracking.

In some network topologies, you may prefer that server-facing ports on an Aggregator remain up and 
continue transmitting traffic without being automatically disabled when LAG 128 connectivity to an 
upstream switch/router goes down. In the event of a loss in upstream connectivity, you can enter the 
uplink-state-group-1 configuration level to:

•

Disable UFD link tracking to keep downstream server ports operationally up. 

•

Configure the defer timer used for UFD link tracking. The defer timer prevents unwanted flapping 
of server ports when the uplink port channel (LAG 128) goes down and comes up.

To re-enable the default UFD link-tracking configuration, enter the 

enable

 command in 

uplink-state-group-1 configuration mode.
