Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system-board connector.
8.
The coin-cell battery is glued to a slot on the top cover. Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the coin-cell battery off the slot.
Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery

Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system-board connector.
