Removing the Optical Drive
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the screw that secures the optical drive to the computer.
3.
Press in on the optical drive release latch to release the optical drive from the computer.
4.
Slide the optical drive out of the computer.
Replacing the Optical Drive
To replace the optical drive, perform the above steps in reverse order.
