Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery .
2 Remove the base cover .
3 Remove the optical drive .
4 Remove the memory modules .
5 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “ Removing the hard drive ”.
6 Remove the wireless card .
7 Remove the keyboard .
8 Remove the computer base .
9 Remove the heat-sink assembly .
10 Remove the I/O board .
11 Remove the system board .
Procedure
1 Note the antenna-cable routing and remove the antenna cables from its
routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
